Ian Fliss, DC is a resident of Wayne Township. Growing up in Montville, NJ, he attended both Montville High School and Morristown Beard School. Throughout his life, Dr. Fliss has always believed there is always a better way to improve one’s well-being. Focusing on various forms of alternative health care, he chose the route of becoming a chiropractor.
But that route wasn’t a direct one. While earning his communications degree at Penn State, he practiced massage therapy in an chiropractic clinic. He recognized the relief that massage gave patients, as well as the heartening experience of helping someone who was in discomfort. After graduation, he decided to refocus his career to chiropractic care.
He attended Life University where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2010. He is a firm believer in the American Chiropractic Association’s definition that “Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health. Chiropractic services are used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.”
Dr. Fliss is a lifelong learner who dedicates himself to staying abreast of the latest techniques in chiropractic health. Today, he leads Pequannock Chiropractic Group in offering the most up to date methods in wellness care.
